  • 13.09. - Ceremonial sheep shearing at the Martinsplatz with a feast. Due to the corona pandemic, the appointment had to be canceled this year!
  • 14.09.-22.09. - Big 5 hikes with Bergsport Total: Guided tours to the mountains Daniel, Thaneller, Grubigstein, Hinterem Tajakopf and Zugspitze
  • 27.09. - Harvest festival in Ehrwald Due to the corona pandemic, the appointment had to be canceled this year!

Every Wednesday until 30/09 - E-Bike skills training and beginners tour, duration approx. 5 hours

Covid-19 - updates

The lockdown and the following rules and restrictions are constantly changing everyone's daily life. These special times demanded a high degree of flexibility, team spirit, respect and - in many places - tiredless commitment.  

We are therefore very much looking forward to welcoming you again - until then modern communication technology helps us to stay in touch and we shall keep you updated here. Update on the situation Austria: 

  • as of 15th August: the Green Pass certificate is only issued after complete immunization. The certificate is issued from the day of the 2nd vaccination. The rules for people vaccinated with Johnson & Johnson and those who have recovered and tested remain unchanged

    as of 22nd July: Gastronomy employees no longer have to wear mouth and nose protection, as long as the 3G rule is adhered to.
    Indoor 8 people per table plus children (previously 4)
    Outdoor 16 people per table plus children (previously 8)
    Curfew is at midnight (previously 10 p.m.)
    Thermal baths / trade fairs / wellness area: only at least 10 sqm per indoor guest.

  • as of 10th June 2021: Only 1 meter distance rule between groups of people (previously 2 m)

    No mask requirement for guests outsideAs of 19 May 2021 new quarantine regulations according to ECDC-card for high risk destinations:

    • green/yellow/orange: entrance without restrictions
    • red: no quarantine if persons are tested negative, vaccinated or recovered
    • dark red: entrance only for tested, recovered or vaccinated persons plus 10 day quarantine with the possibility to test yourself free with a negative PCR test after 5 days
    • This means that persons entering Austria from countries with a 14-day-incidence under 500 (equivalent to 7 day incidence of 250) which are not a virus-mutation-area shall be possible without quarantine.
  • Rules for hotels: 
  • Guests need a valid, negative test, vaccination document or a documentation of recovery from COVID19 apart from the usual registration. In addition tests on site shall be available
  • Upon arrival the guest shall be required to make a controlled self test every 48 hours in order to use the facilities in the hotel
  • 2 metres minimal distance between guest groups.
  • FFP2-masque-mandatory for guests when entering public spaces such as the lobby
  • well fitting mouth nose mask for employees in direct contact with guests, given that all employees are tested weekly and a negative test documention can be shown - otherwise FFP2 masks are mandatory.
  • Meals and drinks may be served complying with the rules and regulations for restaurants
  • sauna and spa visits according the rules and regulations for spa-and recreationcentres.

  • 17 December: third lockdown from 26.12. until 17.1.2021 in Austria. Persons who do not pass a "free-testing" must remain in quarantine for another week until 24.1.2021
    Skiing areas are allowed to open as of 24.12.2020 for local persons - complying with the special rules and regulations one of which is to wear ffp2 mask whilst queuing and riding with the lifts and ropeways.
    on 24 and 25.12: relief of the quarantine times and 10 persons from max. 10 households can come together
  • 7 December: Hotels and restaurants remain closed until 7th January. Shops may open from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. in conjunction with the covid19 rules and regulations. Continuation of the lock down regulations as had
  • 31 Oktober: second lockdown from 3 November until 30 November with new covid19 restrictions which means that only 2 persons from 2 households are allowed to meet. Restricted time regulations between 6 a.m.and 8 p.m. Restaurants can only operate with delivery service during these opening hours. All theaters, fitness studios, swimming pools and other recreation centers, cinemas, museums and zoos are closed. All events are prohibited such as weddings, birthday parties, coach trips, congresses and markets are also not allowed. Hotels and restaurants remain closed except for business
  • 23 October: Food and drinks can only be consumed by persons seated at a table in all restaurants and bars
  • Maximum of 6 persons (children excluded) may be seated at one table indoors
  • 19 October: mandatory registration for all guests in restaurants and bars (not within your booked hotel)
  • 16 October: Closing time for all restaurants and bars 10.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. in Tyrol
  • 14 September: mandatory face masks in shops, schools, public transport, cablecars, restaurants and public spaces in hotels
  • 24 July:  Government re-introduced mandatory face masks in supermarkets, banks, post offices and retail shops. 
  • Mid June: End of border controls to Italy
  • 4 June: Austria lifts the border controls to all neighbouring countries except Italy 
  • 29 May: Hotels allowed to re-open
  • 15 May: Restaurants and bars allowed to open between 6.00 a.m. to 11 p.m. - Rules: max. 4 adults plus children per table, minimum distance of 1 metre between tables
  • 1 May: Retailers re-open their shops and outdoor sports facilities
