Current situation in Austria
We are pleased that you have chosen our hotel for your winter holiday and would like to inform you about the current regulations to ease your travel and entry to Austria:
As of 14th April 2022
- FFP2-masks are only mandatory in hospitals, public transport and supermarkets and chemists
- Masks are no longer mandatory indoors, simply advisable to wear FFP2 mask where distances cannot be kept.
- This also includes coaches, mountain ropeways, hotels, bars where no longer 3 G rules applies either for the guests nor for the employees.
- The 3rd vaccination is valid for 365 days.
As of 24th March 2022
- FFP2 masks are once again mandatory in all closed rooms.
As of 5th March 2022
- You simply require 3G to enter Austria.
- Most G rules no longer apply. FFP2 masks are mandatory in grocery stores, chemists and local transport.
- no closing hours for restaurants, bars and nightlife
As of 19th February 2022
- 2G+ rule for the entrance into Austria
- 3G rule applies in hotels, restaurants and skilifts
- the green pass validity is reduced from 9 to 6 months. (for persons who have 2 vaccinations)
- the green pass is still valid for 9 months for persons who are boostered
- closing hour for bars, restaurants is midnight 00:00 hour
Exceptions from 2G+ rule:
- Persons who already have a booster vaccination can enter Austria without any restrictions such as quarantine etc.
- Pregnant persons and persons who due to health reasons cannoit be vaccinated (medical documentation and negative PCR-Test are necessary)
update 21.01.2022 regulations for children:
- Children up to 12 years of age can enter Austria without any restrictions
- For children of the age 12 to 15 years Austria's government created the Holiday-Ninja-Pass, The Holiday-Ninja-Pass is a exceptionary regulation for the 2G proof for not completely vaccinated children from 12 to 15 years of age.
- Teenagers as of 16 years of age require 2G+ (same as adults)
